The Buddy Boxes are made from a study plastic, they are flexible but not flimsy. The lid is easy to get off and on, but it is not spill proof so do not store it upside down or sideways if your food will leak. I do like the fact that the company put "WARNING: NOT leakproof" in their description, so you know what to expect before you order. The lids fit firm, but easy for a child to remove and eat their lunch. The box is 9 1/4 inch long, 5 3/4 inch wide and 2 inches deep. The box says it is BPA free. The Buddy Boxes are dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer safe. After you wash it, you will need to flip it over and drain the water out of the bottom so it will dry better. The Buddy Boxes are easy to store, they stack into each other to save space.
The Buddy Boxes can be used for more than snacks and leftover food. You can store craft or sewing items or Use it for a desk organizer for note pads, paper clips or stamps. Take it in your suitcase Whenever you are traveling and store snacks that you don't want broken up or even a small camera with extra batteries.

The Sunsella Bento Lunch Box containers are the perfect size for a light lunch or snack. Whenever I run out of town, I like to take a snack so I don't have to eat out. The Buddy Box is the perfect size to hold a sandwich, chips and fruit. I can fit all four Sunsella Buddy Boxes in my lunchbox with ice packs, which makes if great when I have my grandkids traveling with me. I also assign each child a certain color and let them pack their own Buddy Box. They fit great in their lap in the car.
